Tu as écrit ça uniquement pour m’énerver ?

Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Firepower (9 Mars)
THE GLENN TIPTON PARKINSON'S FOUNDATION
As you probably know by now I’ve had to pull out of the current Priest tour due to ill health - I am still doing some shows and joining the guys on stage for some songs and will carry on for as long as I can without compromising the band . So far when I walk on stage the audience reaction has been amazing, heart warming and quite emotional.......
I knew that something was wrong as my co-ordination and speed were affected and have both been slowly getting worse over the last ten years. Accordingly when I was diagnosed it wasn’t really a shock. Rob, Richie, Ian and Scott are playing better than ever and Andy is doing a really great job - they have all given me so much support - It was the band that suggested we start a foundation which although in my name is really a Judas Priest foundation - we are selling t-shirts with the slogan '’NO SURRENDER ’ (a track off the latest album) which is very appropriate considering the determination you have to summon up to get on with life and beat this illness---it’s the sort of thing that always happens to ’someone else'
There are many Parkinson related charities were we could send the funds we raise to which deal with the many different aspects of this disease both physically and mentally - but what really excites me is a brand new pioneering treatment called: MR GUIDED FOCUSED ULTASOUND THALAMOTOMY which although in its early stages has already had great success with a Parkinson's related condition called essential tremor - Dr Bain, my specialist who is one of the leading experts in this field and his colleagues are now turning their attention to treating Parkinson's patients with this state of the art MR scanners and are very optimistic as to the positive results that are emerging
All proceeds we receive from you will go to this cause and I urge not just Judas Priest fans but everyone out there to help ---If you can't get to the shows you can also purchase t- shirts on line at:
https://judaspriest.backstreetmerch.com/…/glenn-tipton-park…
We will keep you posted on what you have all raised through this tour so remember…Keep the Faith and………. NO SURRENDER !!!

Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Firepower (9 Mars)

Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Firepower (9 Mars)
Asked what he thought of Hill's justification for why K.K. wasn't contacted about coming back to PRIEST, Downing said : "Complete load of bollocks. If I had rejoined the band, obviously, I'd step into my role — that's where people would expect me to be — and Richie is already playing Glenn's parts anyway, and we'd do that. It wasn't the case where I was gonna play Glenn's parts and Richie plays mine.
I was thinking, 'Ian, was it too early in the day or too late in the evening when you came up with this idea?'" K.K. continued. "I don't know. But bless him — bless him, because we were like brothers; we went to infant school together and secondary school together, and we lived our career together. But I'm not totally happy about what's being said. Ian seems to be [saying] things like, 'None of the fans are missing K.K.,' and, 'Richie has brought a new energy to the band.' And I'm going, 'Ian, dude, on that last tour, I was the energy. I slowed down because people weren't keeping up with me.'
That's a true story. 'Cause I started off that tour, I played a few shows, and then Scott [Travis, drums] made a comment, and he said, 'What do you mean, man? It's your show.' And I'm thinking, 'Did he think I'm trying to steal the limelight by doing what I've always done?' Then I started to back off, and then I was in an unhappy place from that point — I didn't want everybody to think I was trying to steal the limelight when I wasn't. 'Cause Rob's [Halford, vocals] reading his Autocue [teleprompter system] — he's slowed down — Glenn's going over there for a beer in between every song, and I'm thinking, 'Hmm… I don't know.
So I'm thinking, Ian, get a grip with yourself, mate. You've just replaced the energy with some energy. Fine — well, great. But that's not moving forward, Ian."

BIM !
(K.K. DOWNING Explains Decision To Sell His Share Of Royalty Rights To JUDAS PRIEST Catalog )

Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Firepower (9 Mars)

Never say never.
Etc...etc...Amen:-)"
https://www.unitedrocknations.com/news-k-k-downing-de-retour-avec-judas-priest-6360

Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Firepower (9 Mars)
Would K.K. DOWNING Rejoin JUDAS PRIEST? 'It's All A Question Of How You're Being Asked,' He Says
During a recent interview with Backstage Axxess, Downing was asked if he would ever consider playing with his former bandmates again, either for a full tour or a special one-off event.
"Well, you kind of say in the music industry, 'Never say never,'" K.K. responded (hear audio below). "So it's all a question of how you're being asked and under what circumstances you're being asked. It's not just a question of somebody picking up the phone and saying, 'Oh, K.K., do you feel like doing this? We'd really like to have you back with us just for this special moment.' And then you start thinking about, 'If we did that, then we could do this.' It's all about how you're asked. But it somebody picks up the phone and says, 'Yeah, a couple of people from the record company have asked if you'd do this with us,' it's a different thing. That's the way we are as humans. I mean, probably not everybody is maybe as sensitive as me, but it's all in the asking, isn't it?"
He continued: "I've had a couple of relationships myself in my life, and the ladies have often said to me, 'You know, the problem is not with what you say; it's how you say it.' And I have to take that on board. [Laughs] I think, 'What do they mean?' It's the tone of voice and the right time and all of that.
"Maybe I could [play with PRIEST again], if they said, 'Would you mind doing this?' Not just saying, 'Can you do that?' Or, 'That needs doing.' But [if they say], 'Do you think you can do this for me, please?' There's a massive difference. Especially with the ladies, timing is critical. Sometimes you can say it like that; other times… That's what confuses us as men. I'm diversifying now a little bit. I say something one day, and it's okay. And I say it exactly the same way the next day and all hell breaks loose."
Malheureusement Edith confirme mes doutes: Fake News: K. K. Downing NOT Back in Judas Priest
