SOILWORK - Live In The Heart Of Helsinki (13 mars)

Swedish metallers SOILWORK will release their first live DVD/Blu-ray, "Live In The Heart Of Helsinki", on March 13 via Nuclear Blast. The disc was recorded during the band's special show on March 21, 2014 at Circus Club in the Finnish capital and features guest appearances by Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISH, REVAMP) and Nathan J. Biggs (SONIC SYNDICATE).

Commented SOILWORK frontman Björn "Speed" Strid: "There could've not been a better time than now [to release a live DVD], with 10 albums out and a very varied back catalogue to choose from.

"Our lineup now is 50 percent original members and 50 percent fresh blood, which makes it all more interesting. Especially since the newest members have brought so much to our sound and have continued to inspire us to write new and exciting music and also brought a newfound energy on stage. Now is definitely the time to see us. Trust me."

The DVD was produced by Jouni Markkanen and directed by Ville Lipiäinen, who also worked on the most recent NIGHTWISH DVD, "Showtime, Storytime".

"'In The Heart Of Helsinki' is somewhat of a testimony of our career and the live action shots are mixed with a blast from the past, including a collage of SOILWORK memorabilia.

"I've always loved collages, especially on the inner sleeve of a vinyl.

"As for the cover, we wanted to capture that melancholic wintery feel that the Swedes and Finns have in common — not just emotionally but also culturally.

"It was appropriately cold during the big night and Mircea did a fantastic job recreating that eerie, magical feeling.

Oui j'ai vérifié tous les albums sont représentés, même si le dernier se taille la part du lion avec 7 morceaux (mais c'est un double et il le mérite).

Sinon ça va d'un titre pour les deux premiers et Sworn to a Great Divide, les mal aimés (j'aurais bien pris un petit Pittsburgh Syndrome pourtant), à trois pour Natural Born Chaos, Figure Number Five et Stabbing the Drama. Et seulement deux pour A Predator's Portrait, mon préféré. :fouet:

Mais bon ça a l'air cool quand même !

Je vous ai dit que ce live était vraiment bon ? Un peu froid peut être, mais c'est la musique du groupe qui veut ça. Et Speed chante vraiment, mais alors vraiment très bien, tant en chant clair qu'en growl. A tel point que ça pourrait être suspect, mais c'est un "vrai" bon chanteur alors pourquoi pas ?

Sinon le groupe est déja en studio pour le prochain album et... ça va être leur album le plus heavy bien sur ! :lol:
