VS a écrit:Après une reformation fin 2013, CARNIVAL IN COAL s'arrêtera définitivement en décembre prochain.

Appelé CinC, le groupe emmené par le chanteur Arno Strobl a signé un contrat avec le label Kaotoxin Records en vue de la sortie d'un DVD nommé "VivaLIVEvida (a tribute to the music of Carnival in Coal)".

Il contient le concert donné par le groupe à Amiens, à La Lune des Pirates le 30 mai 2014, durant lequel Carnival in Coal a notamment célébré les 15 ans de l'album culte "Vivalavida".
Ce concert a été enregistré avec 7 caméras et sa date de sortie reste à déterminer.

Le dernier concert de CinC se tiendra le 05 décembre 2015 à Lille, à l'occasion du KaotoxinFest#II.
Une date à Paris, au Point Éphémère est également annoncé pour le 16 mai en compagnie de 6:33

ORCHID - announce new EP!

San Francisco-based classic doom metallers ORCHID have announced to be releasing a brand new EP, named »Sign Of The Witch«. The band's fourth EP is slated for a May 22 release and will contain 4 brand new tracks.

Commented guitarist Mark Thomas Baker: "It's been a few years since we've recorded and we've all gotten so much better at playing and working together. We're excited to let people hear what we're up to these days."

THE VINTAGE CARAVAN - new album details announced!

Icelandic classic rock trio THE VINTAGE CARAVAN have announced the details for the band's upcoming album, entitled »Arrival«, scheduled for a May 15 release via Nuclear Blast.



Commented the band: "We are so excited for the release of the upcoming album. It's definitely a step forward for us musically and we are incredibly happy with how natural the recording process was and how well all of the songs turned out. Get ready for »Arrival«!"

The band recorded the follow-up to 2014's critically acclaimed »Voyage« in an isolated fjord where they set up a studio in an old ballroom and worked with producer Axel "Flexi" Árnason who also worked with the band on their last album.

Commented the band: "The songwriting sessions have been going on since around October 2012 when our album »Voyage« had been out in Iceland for a month. We immediately started writing at that point so some of the songs are quite old for us. Because of that we have a bit too many songs but we intend to make this album around 10 tracks so we can put what we think are the best tracks on the album.
Right now we are doing demos, polishing the stuff and thinking of ways to nicely add to the production of the songs.
We are very excited to start recording this album. It's going to be interesting to work on. The album is a bit different from our previous album - it's a bit darker, a bit heavier, a bit more melodic but definitely all in a good way."

Fredrik has been an important part of Amon Amarth’s development since he joined the band in 1998 and we wish him all the best for the future. We have decided to part ways and I wish them all the best in the future.
I will not answer any questions about why or how simply because it's private.
I'm finalizing the last details with the new This Ending (Official) Cd, and we will look into releasing that somehow during this year, stay tuned.
I will also evaluate any future opportunities.

I want to thank everyone that I've met, both fans and business related through Amon Amarth, it's been my pleasure. It's been a long sweet ride but now it's time for something new.
