Okay guys, now is the time to give you more informations about the album to come!

“Devenir le Soleil” took so many efforts to finally shape, and we are proud to unveil you the tracklist and all the different guests involved in the making of the album. It will be available this spring through Satanath Records and Mourning Light Records.

First of all, as you can see, no more drum machine. For the first time ever, Helioss features a real drummer. Mikko Koskinen did an absolutely astonishing work, to handle the fastest and most progressive tracks Helioss ever wrote, huge step forward in every direction at once. His performance give a new powerful dynamic to our songs and push further the limits of the most extreme parts ever written as well as the heaviest ones.

Also, the album features 9 tracks for more than an hour of music, with a lot of guitars riffs, leads and melodies, black metal raging blasts, and of course - as it's still running in Helioss' DNA - orchestral arrangements to increase the strength and amplitude of "Devenir le Soleil". D.M is still providing some astonishing vocal performances, using his complete range of agressive grunts, growls or screamings. Alongside Nicolas Muller and D.M have been summoned many musicians from the best part of today french metal scene to enrich the variety of the album.

The centerpiece of the album is the progressive eponymous track, which is a 24min song divided in 5 parts, with nothing less than 5 guest vocalists and 3 other instruments (cello, saxophone and percussions), as well as lyrics written by Julien Simon (french novelist / editor) from Page42, based on a concept by Nicolas Muller. Devenir le Soleil is by far the most ambitious and complex song ever written in the history of Helioss with a lot of different atmospheres, extreme symphonic parts, progressive and melodic moments all along this epic and grandiose song.

Once again, after "Antumbra", "Devenir le Soleil" has been mixed and mastered at Studio Henosis by the talented Frédéric Gervais – who is also a guest vocalist on the album.

Ça fait plaisir en effet d'y retrouver des anciens camarades Immortels.

Ouais ça a pas été simple à gérer tout ça ! La recherche des guests a parfois été épique ah ah. Mais on est hyper fiers du résultat.

Ça fait envie ! Je suis curieux d'écouter le pavé de 24 minutes !

Toujours le style Helioss, me voilà rassurée vous n'avez pas basculé dans la proggerie.

Je crois que je n'avais jamais écouté de morceau d'Helioss (Pardon ) et je suis assez impressionné ! Je n'accroche pas totalement à cause du chant, mais musicalement c'est excellent. Et le tout est ultra bien foutu (c'est toujours impressionnant quand ca vient de quelqu'un qu'on "connait").

Quand je pense que je t'ai filé l'album en avant première pour que tu le chronique. J'ai intérêt à en avoir pour mon argent !

J'aime beaucoup le chant sur ce titre!

Et c'est annoncé en news sur Thrashocore ! Bravo pour le travail Luci (et ce satané Count qui ne m'a même pas dit qu'il faisait une apparition sur l'album !)

C'est qu'en plus j'aime bien la musique dis donc frippon !

Et bien moi aussi, contre toute attente, j'aime vraiment ce que j'ai entendu sur ce 1er titre!
