Ben ouais tu prends une voix rapée bien rythmée et tu la mets dans un vocoder avec un noise en onde porteuse, c'est démoniaque à souhait.
J'ai fait ça pour le un remix du groupe Wheelfall qui est lui aussi signé chez Apathia, ça a son petit cachet.
(Cette astuce du vocoder fonctionne aussi du tonnerre sur des éléments percussifs afin d'enrichir leur texture)

Et de rien, je me suis bien amusé et ça a été vite à faire parce que le matériau de base s'avérait inspirant !

Coucou je sors un nouvel EP le 27/04. :P

New EP "Dementia : A Three-Step Process" has now a released date : April 27th, 2019, through major download/streaming platforms.

With these three songs of instrumental neo-classical chiptune metal, I took a slightly different orientation with Terminal Khaos Builders, something more epic and metal with piano, heavy drums, saw lead keyboards and hard riffing. Hope you'll like it !

"12 Views of Iain M. Banks's Culture" is a musical homage to the brilliant Scottish writer, died in 2013, Iain M. Banks, and to his wonderful sci-fi cycle called "Culture series" novels. This space opera takes place in a galaxy where a highly advanced post-humanoid civilization reached a utopian goal of a free, anarchist, libertarian and egalitarian society without money or laws. Almost immortals citizens live in gigantic orbitals floating in space with godlike and benevolent artificial Minds incarnated in ships and drones. The Culture shares the galaxy with many different other civilizations.

With this album, I choose to imagine 12 musical paintings of this incredibly rich and colored universe where adventure, drama, humor, violence and epic situations walks alongside with a fantastic sense of wonder and deep political, ethical, spiritual and sociologist thoughts. Bah TKB c'est mon "petit" projet. Pour faire cet album de A à Z, ça m'a pris quelque chose comme 3-4 mois. Alors oui, ça prend beaucoup de temps (parfois des après-midi entières) mais c'est un processus plus rapide, fluide, instinctif et spontanée que Helioss, qui demande plus de réflexion. Et comme je fais TOUT (mix, artwork, etc...) ça me permet d'avoir un rythme assez élevé en terme créatif.

Mais oui, c'est du boulot, indeed. ^^
